Curriculum of Master of Public Administration
The MPA curriculum described draws upon excellent resources of the SIPA and Earth institute to facilitate students with the technical skills, tools and knowledge required to address the difficult issues in development.
Skills:
All course focus on developing the communication, management, analytical and quantitative skills required to work flexibly and gracefully across the geographic regions.
Technical knowledge:
The core curriculum of master in public administration offers students with a background in public health, food systems, infrastructure, education, business enterprise and environmental sustainability.
Tools:
The students have the chance to learn and apply the new tool in the project management and design, monitoring and estimating, budgeting and financial management, negotiation, decision making and information and communication technologies.
Elective courses and core:
All students should get a minimum of 54 credits of elective course and core in natural science and engineering, health sciences, social science and management in four semesters.
Language:
The students should demonstrate proficiency in a second language before joining the program.
